I slid into this hobby face first.

It started in 2024. I bought some boxes, ripped some packs, and fell back into something I had not thought about since I was a kid trading WWF Merlin cards on a school playground. That feeling came back immediately. The pull. The shine of a Chrome card under light. The specific joy of finding something unexpected in a €3 pack.

🏈 My personal collection is Washington Commanders. I fell in love with them in '94 and have suffered ever since. Always has been, always will be. Sean Taylor, Darrell Green, RG III, Terry McLaurin those are my guys. And of course our new hope JD5.

Everything else I pulled that was not a Commander just started piling up. And at some point I thought: there has to be a better way to move these than sticking them on eBay one by one and waiting.

That is how Whatnot happened. I wanted to try streaming, figured I would see what the fuss was about, and ended up genuinely loving it. The community. The live breaks. The chat going crazy on a good pull. The completely unhinged chaos of a Case break when the Case Hit shows up. I was not just clearing cards I was building something with people who cared about the same things I did.

📺 Then YouTube, where I started filming box rips partly to document what I was learning and partly because reviewing sets on camera forces you to actually think about them. 203 videos later it is still one of my favourite things to do.

The eBay shop followed. In February I flew to Dallas for my first US card show which is exactly as overwhelming, exciting, and slightly absurd as everyone says it is. Standing in a convention hall the size of a small city, surrounded by millions of cards. In April 2026 I had my first show table in Germany. 

Haus of Sportscards is where everything landed. This is where we are now. 🤯 A proper shop, run the way I would want to buy from as a collector honest descriptions, real photos, fast shipping, no hype. The cards I list here are cards I have held, inspected, and sleeved myself. Every order that goes out is packed the way I would want my own cards packed.

Come find the cards. Join a break. Ask questions. There are no stupid questions at this counter.
